Johannes was a saddler and wanted to start his own business, since Wageningen was not big enough he mowed to 's Hertogenbosch where he met Lucia Chambon and later married. Since the business did not flourish it was liquidated. He started to work as saddler for the railroad in Tilburg, after a few years he was laid-off and mowed to Hilversum where he found work. Since he was a piece-worker and could not handle the pressure he had to quit for health reason. After a while he started to work at a night security service which he later purchased and became the proprietor of the Hilversumse Night Security Service. He was Roman Catholic.²³⁹

Johannes Albertus Angenent and Lucia Godefrida Chambon were married on 1 Aug 1890 in 's Hertogenbosch, Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands.²⁴¹ The publications of the banns were on the 12th of July 1890 in 's Hertogenbosch ( Den Bosch ).
The notice to intent of marriage took place in 's Hertogenbosch, Wageningen and in Tilburg on the 13th and 20th of July 1890.
