266. Gerrardus Angenent was born on 27 Jan 1799 in Wageningen, Gelderland, the Netherlands.131 Call name: Geurt. Geurt shown as Gerrardus in the married and baptism certificate.
On documents from the national militia his name was written as Gerardus.
In the excerpt dated 23 Apr 1836 of the marriage-appendix out of the Roman Catholic baptism-book, municipality of Wageningen/Renkum appear that Gerrardus 27 Feb 1799 is baptized. The R.B.S. state that Gerrardus was baptist 27 Jan 1799 . He was living in 1825 in Benedenbuurt house # 102, Wageningen. He died on 13 Dec 1853 in Wageningen, Gelderland, the Netherlands.132 Geurt died at 05.00 hr. Notice of death was done on 13 December 1853 by Dick Delnaay, 58 year, occupation none, and by Petrus Steckel, 49 year, shoemaker. He was a labourer. He was Roman Catholic.

Gerrardus Angenent and Catharina Evers were married on 4 Jun 1836 in Wageningen, Gelderland, the Netherlands.133 The public notice of marriage was at 11.30 hr. on 24 April 1836 in Wageningen.
Witness to the marriage were H.Gerritsen, 39 year, apprentice-labourer, E van de Heijden, 37 year, foreman, R.Wijnen, 26 year, shoemaker and A.Voltman, 75 year, labourer. none of the witness were relative to the bride or bridegroom. Also was mentioned in the certificate that the bride, the bridegroom and the mother of the bride were unable to write.
There was an explanation in the marriage appendix which said: The bridegroom confirmed under oath before us aldermen that his grand-parents from his father and mother side are deceased but could not produce a death certificate and did not know there last resident or place of death. This oath was attended by the same witness as the marriage.
Also was mentioned in the marriage-appendix that: Marriage of 4 June 1836. We the Mayor of the municipality Wageningen declares upon request of Gerrardus Angenent, labourer, and Catharina Evens, occupation none, both residing here, being exempted from fees, legal charges, scripts and proof of documents needed for the intend marriage according to art. 8 of the; nr; resolution of 26 May 1824 ( Government Gazette # 31 ) and of 7 February 1827 ( Government Gazette # 6 ) which exempt fees for people in need. Given in Wageningen the 10 April 1836 the Mayor van de Graaff, prov. Gelderland, district Arnhem municipality Wageningen # 190/8. Catharina Evers (daughter of Hendrik Evers and Berendina Polman) was born on 23 Mar 1814 in Wageningen, Gelderland, the Netherlands. She died about 1867. Gerrardus Angenent and Catharina Evers had the following children:

Hendrikus Angenent was born on 27 Mar 1848 in Wageningen, Gelderland, the Netherlands. He died on 9 Apr 1848 in Wageningen, Gelderland, the Netherlands.134 Hendrikus died at 11.00 hr. Notice of death was done by his father Geurt Angenent, 49 year, labourer and by Andries Hendrikus Scheepers, 67 year.
The certificate stated that his father could not read nor write.
